It is rather interesting to see it unfold. I I now have hope. Probably helped big time that we had some late afternoon sun to help destabilize things.

wahoo, finally, some thundershowers and moderate/heavy rain at times Not a gully washer or a drought buster, but I will take it. The nice part is the thundershowers. Lighting means extra nitrogen in the rain which will green up the trees and grass real nice and quickly. All the yellow and brown grass will be gone by the end of week. The trees will really bud  by the end of the week too.

Velocity doesn’t look overly impressive. Pretty weak couplet. I’d be surprised if there was an actual tornado there.

The emergency broadcast on TV said rotation was in Adamstown heading towards Reading at 20 mph. We shall see. We just had strong storms come through

True! Closest lighting strikes in a few years as well. And an actual round 2 forming.

Seeing this convection on radar drifting east is like watching paint dry. Still waiting for rain here.

Once it gets there, it's there. Longest thunderstorm in quite a while around here and still going full throttle. The lightning has been a blast...
