80 right now at Charleston, W. Va., with 10% relative humidity.

Edit: Actually 81F, and 9% humidity now!

84F, with Td of 13F, at top of the hour. Definitely a desert like airmass promoting large diurnal ranges. The current reading is 47F above the daily low. If not a "weathergami," it must be close.

I thought the 12z nams looked like crap for west of the bay.  Looks a lot like the last front that blew up over the eastern shore.

I'm talking about the area between DC and Richmond. Down there seems to always jack.

That's fine.   I understand but I just everyone to understand that many portions of Virginia have suffered moderate to extreme drought.

Hopefully,  this coming  next 6 - 12 months will be better.

Hi-Res guidance in agreement that heavy showers move southwest to northeast across the east side of DC early this evening.   Radar confirms this idea, with thunderstorms now over south-central VA.

Seems like our area going to be the boundary between lighter stuff west and heavier east.

Reminds me of living in the Bay Area

Dude I was just at my piano teacher's house in the pax river side of Calvert and my car thermometer said 76F when I left her house.  7mi east on the bay side at my house it is 61F, 15 degrees colder!!  Went from AC to heated seats during the ride home.
