Winds have been 20-25 with gusts of 30 since around noon here.

Sun making an appearance now. 70/60 currently.

Noticed this area is now in the marginal risk for severe. Nothing earlier. Little warmer/juicier than forecast perhaps.

I'm not at all impressed by the radar.  We never seem to get significant rain from basic front passages so I'm taking the under unless something big shows up on radar.

West to east precipitation i would agree. The front isn't blasting through and the storms and rain looks like it's training from south to north. Someone will probably get a soaker.

I hope you're right.  I'm looking at the southern edge of the line to the west disintegrate over the mountains though.  Maybe it redevelops after it gets past the Appalachians but it's not very inspiring to me at the moment.

Prob will get some showers once the colder air filters in, but seems like instability is lacking. I’m rocking a short sleeve shirt today…feels awesome.

52 mph wind gust moments ago, crazy, stuff flying everywhere outside.

Looking at clearing line moving ENE rapidly. Temps should respond.

Southern area of storms look to miss me to my South, atmosphere may be more primed for the later storms.

Was at Huntley Meadows earlier and a few of the gusts made me wonder if that was the right time to be walking the trails.

Local stations have recorded gusts in the 30s here, but looking at the treetops on my property gusts have to be 40+ just off the surface.

This is literally the funniest forecasted day of rain I can remember! It’s like effing Boxing Day with “rain”. I couldn’t clasp my hands together and squeeze a drop of liquid out of any cloud. Dry AF! Well….next?

Yup. Not looking good. The eastern shore is going to do well and PA always does well. Looks like not much of anything in between.

I'd like to know the reason for this hole over the middle of MD. I mean...is there am explanation or is it just luck? I mean the same winter trend basically (except northeast does a bit better).
