Remains to be seen wether he can put together a championship caliber squad. He definitely prospect hugs. Watching the Os down the stretch last year they didn't look like the other teams that were chasing a WS. Eventually it may take a managerial change to get it done. My guess is managerial change comes first. And it oughta be all but certain if we either miss the playoffs or fail to win a playoff game.

WVclimo
For O’s fans, highly recommend this new book about Earl Weaver, “The Last Manager.” Here’s a passage about Jim Palmer’s early experience with Earl: In June 1967, the Orioles sent Palmer to Rochester to rehab. During his first game Weaver walked to the mound and told him to challenge Johnny Bench with the bases loaded. “Throw the ball over the middle of the plate. This guy’s nothing,” Weaver said. Bench blasted a grand slam. “I learned a lot from Earl Weaver,” Palmer said. “The first thing I learned was that he didn’t know a thing about pitching.” https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/1668030926?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image

Jebman
Anyone lookin' to go skiing soon? Consider Tahoe or Mammoth Wed night thru Friday! Cold storm with huge aggregates will pile up massive pow accums, to the tune of 30 to 50 inches, especially above 6K feet. Winds will be fun too, with serious whiteout conds extant thru the entire period. Lots free refills! Watch out for tree wells!

T. August
Found out today Gordon Ramsay is filming a new show 1 block from my shop in downtown Havre de Grace. Went for a walk and was asked politely to move to the other side of the street due to filming. Looked it up later and it seems like it’s about remodeling ailing restaurants. Unfortunately NOT fixing the menu (won’t name names - not gonna throw them under the bus).

CAPE
Pretty good move by the Ravens. Not much money with zero risk. Sure handed, and makes the contested catch. Definitely an upgrade over Agholar. Same age as Devante Adams, who just signed a 2 year 46M deal, which is nuts. lol Jets. eta- continuing with the LOL Jets theme- 3 year 36M deal for Brandon Stephens. Good luck with that.
