Now those Mich St, Ohio St, NW and Washington losses loom big. MD should be the Big Ten Champions.

Not sure about “should be”, but obviously can see the path to “could be”. Got to make at least sweet 16 in the tourney…

Their depth is a going to be a HUGE issue. Their starting five is one of the best in the country, after that it’s like division 3 players. Anyone gets in foul trouble or tired we’re screwed.

No way this team should be losing to the likes of NW and Washington... Also giving up a 17 point lead to lose on a bank shot 3 pointer.  They better bound the crap out of NW this weekend in College Park.

Good thing they have two great big men this year.  They have a couple of perimeter players that can come off the bench... but yes very thin.

Yeah this weekend feels like a romp…15-30 point win type deal

The worst in my opinion was the blown game to Ohio St. That game happened after we turned the corner and we were playing well. We're a superior team to them and we collapsed.

That loss in particular made me want to vomit. Had the game pretty much the whole time and just blew it.

A guy came to our door yesterday asking if we were interested in meeting with folks from Dominion Energy to see if we qualify for a federally-funded program that helps with reduction in energy use/costs (including a subsidy for solar panels).

I mean…I’m happy to have the meeting and am very interested, but couldn’t help but think that subsidy - as beneficial as it is - is gonna get schwacked soon enough. Great timing, Dominion…

The Capitals are set to acquire pending UFA winger Anthony Beauvillier from the Penguins, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet. They’re sending their 2025 second-round pick to Pittsburgh in return, Chris Johnston of TSN and The Athletic reports. After losing Jakub Vrána on waivers to the Predators yesterday, Washington had an open roster spot, so they won’t need to make a corresponding move.

Tommy John is the elbow, though...ordinarily if you hear elbow discomfort then yeah.

Report today says Grayson is experiencing pain in the back of the elbow, which is different than the tricep they mentioned yesterday.  Supposedly not related to the ligament but we’ll see.

And Andrew Kittredge who was signed to shore up the bullpen in front of Felix Bautista is having knee surgery and will miss “multiple months.”

Always seems to end up the worst case scenario with the Os pitchers lately tho. That was the point I think.

If the Os expect to consistently compete with the big boys, at some point the ownership needs to be aggressive and be willing to spend money to acquire free agent talent. Just the reality with teams like the Yankees, and to a somewhat lesser extent Toronto and Boston in the division.
