Same ol story-rainfall totals lighten up as we get closer to the event....last week was an exception

The lone exception since mid-August. Literally every event has trended to less QPF for the last 7+ months. The drought/dry cycle continues….

You're in a great spot for huge diurnal temp changes in spring.

Yup, I saw Somerville was 25 this morning.  Those backdoors that ruin nice days for you guys during spring many times stop just east of me as well.

The hurricane season last year was very interesting too, very quiet for a large majority of normal peak activity time.  Everything was shifted to the south....

and the same thing happened this winter.

Even here, near the ocean we started at 36 this morning and now up to 60 already.

You also get these large swings in early November.  I remember being in the 30s in the morning and in the 70s in the afternoon several times!

Made it to 66 before the sea breeze brought it back to the 50s. That's how it goes this time of year.

Tomorrow will be a great day to do a paint correction on the truck after taking down a trail a little too narrow.

Hoping the clouds can clear on Thursday night for the lunar eclipse but we might be looking through soup if the marine layer persists.

Is that the highest you have ever been after being below freezing for the low?

I've seen this happen a few times in November, but not in March.  The dryness must be why.

I'd have to dig through my records to see where today ranks. My biggest swings are always in the spring here.

This has been one of the most impressive 6-8 hr temperature rises that we have seen in the early spring.

Eastern PA had them too, both Scranton and Allentown hit 70 today.  Weren't their lows in the 20s Chris?

3rd highest 9 hour temperature rise in March at spots like SMQ.
