Not for us poor saps in eastern NE lol. Haven’t had over 5 inches of snow in almost three years which is almost unprecedented for us.. The 80’s were lean too as I recall though

You had to have 5" back on 1/20.

Just a wee little observation that I'm highly confident 0 people have noted  ...heh

This frontal sag with pesky polar high obtruding into an otherwise warm and actually happy week, was remarkably well handled by all guidance going back 8 or so days.   Really outstanding accuracy from an astoundingly long lead regarding a small variance that imposes a very large sense of longing -

sound like New England?      lol    it's true though. Outlook nailed!

I’ll defer to you of course and I didn’t measure it officially. I just eye balled it. If it was it couldn’t have been much more than that.. Or maybe the snow settled before I got out to look at it

I'm trying to recall if there was anything meso and weird. Seems uniform for you and I. I did measure twice, but the difference from snow OTG to measuring twice was negligible. My benchmark moved to 6" and that looks to continue right into next winter which is sad.

If I recall correctly, I think you might have had a bit of ocean enhancement that we didn't get a few miles west of you in Randolph. We didn't get to 5 inches here.

Barely 50 today with a breeze feels chilly compared to 65 the last two days.

That is one negative about anomalous early season warmth...it makes days like today (which are fantastic) seem a bit "worse" than they really should be. I mean if we had today after a stretch of 20's or 30's...this would be superb but having this after multiple days of 60's seems like a step back

I had 5 and then a few hours later we had that fluff move through. Winds went NNW so I don’t think there was OE. Anyways still pathetic.

Back this way west of the River that was a 7.5” storm here.  Ray cleaned up with almost 20”.
