Congrats Stowe

Either way, I’m pretty tapped out. I do think that would fit the tenor though. We nape and dream of installing, only to have the storm of the season chain us to a rusty support beam in the basement.

The first half of March looks pretty interesting. Maybe we can finally pop a big one, but probably not.

Again…these two posts from two respected METS are polar opposites.

I mentioned early March cold. If you want to hold on tight to ensembles then have fun.

Hey wiseguy…nobody is, or needs to be holding tight to anything.  It’s funny how you’re telling everybody it’s over, and Will is being objective and saying it looks pretty interesting.   We all know that nothing has panned out for us, and more than likely won’t. But What a curmudgeon you’ve become.  It’s dam sad.

Everyone always tries to rush the end of winter every late February and March. It’s like we all of the sudden live in Virginia.

March is the Toss up month, it can be in the 70’s or I remember a late Match day with highs in the single digits;if we’re not gonna snow then I would rather see it end!

I'd love to get in an epic ski week next week at Saddleback and then let the flowers bloom the week after but that's just as likely to happen as a blizzard in mid-September. I also wonder if the US "cold pool" lingers into the summer and we end up with 2009 or worse.

I see the same thing. Could it be interesting? Maybe? We just don’t know? I’m not holding my breathe. We have a nice week coming up and then maybe 7-10 days of what will likely be a tease and then we’re out. So yeah I’d say we’re about done.

The averaged anomaly charts have been looking interesting most of the winter. But the actual realization of shortwaves has continuously materialized as not interesting.

Yes, Nobody expects you to hold your breath…nobody should be.  And I don’t mean we are getting a bonafide snowstorm…but after a few nice days it’s back into the cold for a while.

00z euro op looks about right. A fropa on the 2nd followed by the PV sitting on our face and then a cutter as we watch the Deep South line up for a snower.

Ya an OP run at that time is a joke as we know… but not surprising the way it’s been going. Can’t catch any breaks.

You call me a curmudgeon, but eventually a man reaches his breaking point. I’ve had enough of this BS. Another way to get effed over. Just glad it’s almost over.

As much I want 50s and 60s, all ensembles look pretty cold through first 10 days of March. Of course it's March so it wont be as cold as the last two months, as a function of the calendar. Who the eff needs that useless cold if it's not going to produce. I'll take the slight mild up this week though

Yes. Also doesn’t mean that will continue.

Or…maybe we get an ugly looking chart mid-month and it produces a storm which sometimes happens in March with shorter wavelengths.

You’ll be rewarded with 50% of the days being Atlantic ass mist once you celebrate the end of snow threats.
