GFS is a dartboard past day 5.  I think it led on one single (minor) event this season.

Sure if it's serious with lots of wind damage, coastal flooding, and crippling snows. but the closest I've ever seen in March (iirc) is 1993 and that one kinda sucked where I was.

I just hate Morch . It’s not a winter month . It’s the time of year where sure I’ll take the snow and have fun in the track leading up to it. But it just leaves a sad, hollow feeling knowing it starts melting immediately once it ends . It’s a spring feel and vibe . And we don’t really even get those storms anymore and won’t going forward

Blizzards don't grown on trees and 70 will be here soon enough, so I will always take the blizzard. ideally, I'd prefer a March blizzard followed by 70 degrees a few days later..everyone's happy!

While you guys were wasting time drooling over another fake GFS snowstorm our "big warmup" has now been reduced to one day. The 12th on the Euro and the 14th on the GFS. The GFS has subzero temps on the 11th lol. It shows mostly 30s for highs, this sucks.

at the surface sure, but at H5 is different 

northern stream isn't as sharp and doesn't dive in like it did on the 12z run

Good news for this forum is that I am probably taking a last-minute trip out to SoCal this weekend so the chance that this is the one that the GFS sniffs out just went up dramatically.

Every year the gfs has events like this where it stands alone. It’s always wrong except for Boxing Day but that was 48 hours out

Give it another run or 2 and it’ll be purged of whatever bad data the 12z run digested
