It also could be a real nasty ice event east slopes of the mtns from Monads to Gene and then maybe near lakes region above 1K. Probably VT spine too east facing and south of Stowe.

Thinking I'll be taking a drive to check it out..  :damage:

Dendy is not properly prepared for what’s about to hit

He might need to be a little higher up. This time of year I want to be at 1K on the east slopes facing the wind to offset any solar insolation.

Give me snow or insolation.  Not the other thing. 600-700’ here where I live

Not worried in the slightest. I expect some minor to moderate accretion here. Sunday will probably be warm enough that it stays above 32° or at least the slight insolation limits accretion. There will be some sleet early here too.

Like Scoot said, NE facing high terrain will have bigger issues…900-1k+.

Saturday trended colder but the warmth is winning now Sunday to Monday. Better cold push tonight but there isn’t a secondary cold push on Sunday so even  north of the surface boundary subtly/slowly starts to warm…

Instead of a prolonged wintry event it’s become just Saturday, excluding Winne north…

Since I'm 17 miles north of you and my elevation is 1100 feet I am getting worried about ZR.  I hope that for the most part it's a sleetfest.  I don't need a birch bender nor power issues but I bought a little more wood yesterday just in case I need to keep the stove running.  It could be a fun weather day around here.
