Winter Weather Advisory
for Androscoggin County

Issued by National Weather Service
Portland, ME
3:15 PM EDT Sun, Mar 23, 2025

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 10 PM EDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and western Maine.

* WHEN...From 10 AM to 10 PM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Low pressure will bring a period of snowfall to the region. Although snowfall amounts will be light, travel will still be impacted due to snowfall accumulations on untreated roads. The potential exists for snowbands that will bring periods of locally heavy snowfall, which will lead to rapid snow accumulations and extremely dangerous travel conditions. Periods of moderate and heavy snow will combine with low visibility to create dangerous driving conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions can be obtained by going to newengland511.org
