wxeyeNH
29.9F Freezing rain. Ground is white and trees are coated. White pines are saggy but not too bad. Glad the first batch was mostly frozen.

It took several years but now I have my neighbors trained. They follow my lead w/r/t driveway stakes, parking cars in garage, clearing right after the changeover to rain, not sweeping the sand off the sidewalks and driveway on 3/15, etc.
tunafish
3.4" will do it for PWM as we're over to a spitting mix. I heard the first Spring Peeper as it started to snow at 05z last night. Dumb thing is now in a vernal slush.

But I suspect it will make it up to me because I'd hate it and that's how weather works in my life. Totally not scientific, but it happens anyway. Torch did not make it up to me. It never made it out of the lower 50s and is now 44. So... I was wrong, and I certainly can't complain.

But then it got pinched off quick and dropped fast by noon. Just to our SW it was really summertime warm where those areas are in the high 70’s and low 80’s. Pretty amazing gradient for sure.
