dendrite
Kidding aside…that’s a healthy pool of low dews feeding in to the foothills to offset the latent warming. There could be some decent icing in the higher terrain around here…maybe even Gene if he can avoid sleet.
Typhoon Tip
Yeah the meteorology of this boundary circumstance is pretty fantastic 33 in Lowell and nearing 80 in HFD that’s kinda awesome really if that sets up like that.

My simplistic interpretation of what you posted is that the NErly wind speeds are greater than those flowing SErly onshore from the GOM. What is it about the cold to the NE that prevents the greater wind speeds from simply pushing past that? I'm guessing this is very remedial stuff, but hey, that's where I'm at
CT Valley Snowman
58 here on the Euro 2m temps around 2 PM Saturday with a bit of a wedge in the valley. I'd take that all day over the 30s but still a bit jealous of those who make it well into the 70's.
Sey-Mour Snow
Getting some solid agreement on widespread 75-80 for at least the SW half of the state Saturday. Should be an epic day, baseball tourney for the kids in Middletown 12-5.. hopefully the door stays NE of there..

Can’t wait This boundary could shift further north or south depending on several meteorological processes. Given the shallow nature of the cold air usually best to favor a greater potential for the front to shift further south as opposed to north. That being said, there is the potential for a 30-40 degree temp spread on Sat from HFD to FIT/LWM.
