I think Ultimate Orange is back on shelves, I used to take those pre workout supplements, spend 20 minutes in the bathroom and then get in a good workout.

Yep, the original Gaspari Nutrition SuperPump 250, AKA "SuperDump 250".  It worked.  But like clockwork with that bathroom trip.  Word was it was due to magnesium content.  The Wild West of supplements back then!

Don't forget NO Explode which is what you did prior to your workout.

Late March has had some wild contrasts.  On 3/31/98 I was working at Public Lands' Scraggly Lake tract, just NE from Baxter Park.  WX there was occasional light RA/IP and mid 30s.  At BGR, 100 miles south, it was 78.  Another 100 south, PWM hit 88, their hottest March day.

Was just going to say that for myself... Westfield vs BDL. Of course if it's right, the thermometer at BDL will insist it's 78

Yeah, I still think something's wrong with that thermometer Bradley. Maybe it's being stuck in that valley with all the planes landing and taking off

Certainly a massive heat island around the airport that's for sure. Just standing in one of those waiting areas they provide near the runway you can feel the massive amounts of heat, it's worse than the Walmart parking lot

Exactly. It doesn't seem like the smartest area to be taking official measurements for Temps when it's usually skewed several degrees warmer than any of the surrounding areas

Expand

Yup. My aunt lives like a 1 minute drive from the airport. When I was living with her I used to go on walks and walk along 75 briefly and then turn towards Old County Rd. You could easily feel the difference in temperatures from some of those side roads versus along 75.

This time of year, anything under 6", the snowblower remains under its tarp (unless we have freaky cold - April 6-9, 1982 averaged 23/10 at Farmington).

I had to make one swipe the other day as we have a parent with a car that's low to the ground and could not get up the driveway to drop there child off for daycare, But over the weekend, I'm not going too.

The crazy part is…it was off for a long time and the data is skewed, but the dumb garbage goes in the books.  Not cool.  Late Last September or early October when we had the warmth for a few days…they were 86 plus while here it was 76-78.  8-10 degrees off is laughable..but it went in the books.  Pathetic.

Yeah, our techs were saying it's usually when the fan shits the bed. It can't draw enough air through the sensor and it starts to accumulate heat.

You can see it especially at night there. The black dots keep drifting warmer (when it's usually less mixed than day) until it is fixed.

Pretty clear shift beginning around this time last year until a few weeks ago. They should probably just subtract 2F on the max/mins for the past year and slap an “E” on the end of each value.

Looking back….those max temps had more error than before the shift.

Maybe the fan was working strong and there are low albedo radiation sources around the instrumentation pulling the extra heat in?
