Ya, but what’s not favorable is that it’s 10-15 days away. What makes that any different than all the other favorable flops?

Nothing , as some have said it will probably verify in the worst way possible, ruining our torch, and then with our luck all we’d get out of it is a cold rain.

Snow after st. Paddy's day is pointless around here. Just a cold day with white rain.

Well, if it takes a favorable track, and there’s adequate cold in place, it wont be white rain. But those are big if’s obviously.

Plowable snow after that date though is rare here and in my view pretty pointless unless it's 6+ . I would rather the 45-55 as long n it's not raining.

But it happens….And it will happen again.  Just a matter of when.

Would two feet do it with 4 inches an hour? Thats what the April Fools storm was, melted pretty quickly after but it was a good day when it happened.

Yes sir.  4/6/1982 was another monster. What a day that was too.

I'd take an April Fools day again, just to enjoy it for one day.

I would too. That was definitely a memorable storm. That said I would bet a large amount of money that won't happen again for a very long time. Maybe another 30 years?

Snow in the first half of March is great, typically it doesn't last long and ice is almost never a concern. After st. Paddy's I'm working outside pretty much full time so non accumulating snow is what typically happens and is just annoying.

My cousin loves telling the story about going to a Grateful Dead concert in Philly that night.  Walking in to the show in the pouring rain and coming out to several inches of snow and having to drive back to NY.  The band must've known what was up because they started the show with the song "Cold Rain and Snow"
