Did you guys ride back in heavy, wet snow?  We did about 100 miles in the NEK today and about 30 of those were in wet snow that kept making it hard to see. Constantly wiping my shield. Trails were nice. Lots of snow up there.
Lots of wiping. Gets annoying

It's full on spring down here on the shoreline. Daffodils, crocus and skunk cabbage are sprouting.

Like a legit two months away up here… about 3+ months away at elevation.

Besides the mountain west, our corner of the map has the widest sides of climo.  Men along the south coast can be laying out on their small decks tanning bellies with sound of mowers cutting while men just 200 miles away are hugging each other over pancakes after carving tracks in knee deep snows.

Mid Morch . Gotta get the snow to melt here first and see what the screamer and 50’s does up north

The screamer won’t do much at all for the northern ski areas, and especially in northern and western Maine.  They buried…they winter for a while yet.  Here…after this week hopefully we go more spring mode.
