Full 6+ weeks earlier, too.  Congrats!

Well, it hit 100” at Feb 16, 2019… and STAYED above it until April 19, 2019.  Maxed out at 124”.

So April 19, 2019 was the last time it was at or above 100”.  I worded it a bit funny.

easily gusting over 40 now.. it sounds like a freight train every couple minutes

I remember a night in 97 after there had been a wide tornado outbreak in the Midwest and we had thunderstorms forecast.  You so often hear tornado survivors describing hearing a roar like a freight train preceding the impact.  I was watching tv that night and heard that roar.  I remember thinking "Oh crap a tornado does sound like a train"  For the last 28 years it amazes me that for even just the two seconds it took me to remember, that I had forgotten that my apartment was 25 yards from an active train line.

Did you guys ride back in heavy, wet snow?  We did about 100 miles in the NEK today and about 30 of those were in wet snow that kept making it hard to see. Constantly wiping my shield. Trails were nice. Lots of snow up there.

Yes, It sucked, I may have to develop a solar wiper for the face shield.

As well as mine but it was a PIA to wipe it constantly.

Still snowing in the county…they will be good for a while. Hope you and Lava had a great day.  The lunch destination looked great :sled:.   I Can’t wait to get up there.

Don't the heated shields help a bit with the snow?

They can…but sometimes they can’t keep up..doesn’t take much to have a problem.  I don’t use a heated shield..my helmet evacuates great, so no cords for me.

Friend of mine lived on Route 20 in Brimfield during the 6/1/11 outbreak.  Said the same.  In fact was what made him look outside and immediately go to the basement.

I don’t use it either. The number of times I forgot to unplug while getting off the sled was just stupid and annoying. I rarely have an issue anyway.

Yup…my buds have snapped a ton of cords over the years.  I have never used a cord…but then again I don’t wear glasses…so I’m fortunate at this point.
