Never know, maybe I'll start tracking incidence of swamp ass

I’m actually thinking it might be good for my mental health to take a break for the summer.
That being said, I think we have a warm summer. I’m not sold on it being full swamp ass humidity tho

Summer is the best thing for mental health. Winter too stressful. Used to be enjoyable.

Egg prices drop yet?

Not to make this political...any party....any person, who relieves someone else of their job should do so with tact. Seeing video of Musk running around with a chainsaw when referencing the firings was barbaric and nauseating. This has zero to do with his policy....maybe the cut downs will be the best decision ever. Not the point.

GFS on its own with the confluence next week. It has the northern stream press down ahead of the southern waves. GGEM and Euro just phase them together and we get a monster cutter.

If the GEM and EURO allowed a monnster coastal to come up because the GFS had the northern stream pressing down, guess which camp would be right?

In this case, its undoubtedly the GEM/EURO.

We couldn’t get anything to phase right this year…can they phase now and give us a big cutter.. lol.  Or will the GFS be right this time and not allow phasing as has been the case all season.

This is what I mean...all of this crap about the west warm pool having the jet get to active, and having too much compression for coastals....where are these factors to prevent the Hudson valley cyclops??

That’s why it’s nonsense.

Yeah it’s just curve-fitting over a relatively small sample imho. Monster cutters are because of west pacific warm pools…apparently so are VA and Carolina snowstorms.

My guess is that they will reference a trend this week that moves the low from Binghamton to Albany, and say "see, it attenuated".

Of course a stemwinder 980-something near BUF was no problem 10 days ago when even a slight attenuation would’ve produced 10-15” of snow easily prior to mixing. Guess the PAC jet didn’t get the memo on that storm.

Who ever made that proclamation in the first place.

wtf does the West Pac do that directly does anything 12,000 mi away?   that demonstrates an inherent lack of understanding if that was the rationale.  Definitely high marks for creative thinking though -

Bluewave said the cutter/slider storm pattern will never change
