I'm feeling that if you're super close to the transition line now or just on the sleet side, that is not a bad spot to be given the enhanced precip build back to the west continuing more than progged and inevitably the transition line collapsing SE as WAA shifts.

About two hours ago, Lewisville had about .25 to .5 inch of snow.  Roads remained clear though.  Drove into Winston Salem and they definitely had more snow there.  Back in Lewisville most snow has already melted.  Still snowing lightly 28F.

Visibility has nosedived in the last 30 min or so. Still raining down fatties from the heavens. Got about 2 inches on the deck so far. Haven’t went out yet as I’m just drinking coffee and watching it.

My son said it’s coming down hard in Northern Wake County. Big flakes too!  I’m looking at all of our ring cameras and everything is covered, the road, grass, cars, etc. It’s freaking beautiful! I can’t believe we’re skiing in Canada with rain while RDU gets snow. I’m so happy for my fellow RDU folks. It’s been a brutal few winters!

There is literally no way to give yall the current observations in F-V. When the rates lighten up...all sleet...once they pick up...huge flakes mixed with sleet (current scenario). Been bouncing back and forth for hours! Lol...maybe half inch of snow/sleet. Roads are clear for most part.
