Oh you weren't on here a couple days ago? He left the forum (I won't rehash why here as not to stir up the topic again. If you wanna know I'll message ya). That's why he posted on fb the other day--he said he's gonna start posting his thoughts there again.

He likes the melodrama of storming off

Who offended  his precious models this time?

Yeah... I do not know why you have to push your political opinion on people that come here for weather.  I know he was posting it in banter... but I come here to get away from the real world...not to have someone push their political views on me.

Also, he didn't delete his account... so he will be back.  You can look at his account, and see he logged in 50 minutes ago... more like a power type move that backfired.

Don't know about you, but I come here for the weather porn. The analysis just adds to the fantasy. :D

Lack of Miller As is a problem.  It used to be 50/50 now it’s 85/15 favoring Bs.  Storms that approach us from the w-sw mostly fail and models mostly fail in getting that right

It's definitely been favoring "BS" around here for some time now!!!   Sorry couldn't resist.  But to be a little serious, it does seem we've not had many "true" Miller-A storms of late.

I know we are likely done with snow for most/all of us for the year...but if this is what the Medium/Long Range Thread is shifting to can we just rename it Banter Part II? We don't need to turn it into a pro or anti psu tirade or rehash things over and over again.

Pretty clear indicator winter is probably over if this is what folks are posting in the LR thread.

Now let's take a look at what you just did: Psu leaving had ZERO to do with models. And yet somehow some way, you found a way to assume that it was. I feel like you come in here every winter just to pick a fight about the same thing...and to what end? It just sows hostility, man.

Significant rain arrives later next week.  You  can see this progression East later next week. Might be a good time to apply pre-emergents as rain will create the barrier, hopefully though,  not pouring rains as it will wash away the granules. However, still too early for nitrogen treatments as the grass needs to be growing, if not you riskfuture grass damage.  Soil temps still cool. Great link insert your zip. https://www.greencastonline.com/tools/soil-temperature

Soil moisture is currently very low.

yeah yall, get back on topic.  PSU is cool, I've talked to him and I'm just trying to give him space before I hoodwink him back in here.

Meanwhile, I'm still bitter about last week and I'm going to be generally annoying for a bit while I throw my tantrum.  I try not to come in here and shit up the thread.  Who knows, maybe something will break.  Probably not.

Stop fighting.

Warn level rain.  Flood warning.

At the very least, there’s something to track; and looks like there will be some snow in the Midwest from it. Aside from some systems that have nickeled and dimed us, most of CONUS is really lacking in the stormy and snow department this winter. Just been too dry outside of the south and the coastlines. Pretty mundane from a snowfall perspective for most of CONUS. Boring times
