The DC snow magnet might not be able to escape snow today.  Radar looks pretty good.  In the Frederick rain shadow...I expect non-accumulating clouds.

You rang? I am snowmagnet.  Just sitting at home stuck with sick days instead of snow days.  Flu for the win.

But I think I spy some tiny flurries outside my window here in Western Fairfax.

VA Beach is in a different climate...if they're getting up to 10", then forget about it here.  I can't think of a single event where I would get several inches and they would, too.  This setup is absolutely beautiful for that location, but up here there's just too much cold/dry air.

That sucks...my office has been hit with a few cases of the flu.  Something is going around.

I think DC is famously the snow hole.  Radar seems to agree this time.  Wrong side of the magnet - looks like we are repelling.

Lol not with the dews we have. Our shield is up and stronger than ever. We'll pay for our climo snow this season for the next 10 years.

Yeah, I work in a middle school.  We've had a ton of sickness going around.  I was really hoping last week's storm would have given us enough to keep us out of school Wed-Friday to clear the germs, but no such luck.

If it's not warm mixing issues it's cold dry dew points. lol

Models right now working on figuring out if 44 and rain or 27 and snow or 22 and cloudy .  The last week has been laughable.  Compulsive response disorder will follow this post

I mean if you are looking for a reason…an hour of this could make the drive a bit more interesting but doesn’t seem to be sticking to the roads very well right now.

It’s no better in elementary and they will stand right in front of you with a finger up their nose.

If i had didn't know this isn't happening here in AA County I'd think I'm about to jack. It looks like a snow event is moving into the lowlands if you're going by the radar. Damn this sucks

This one just stings more than usual for several obvious reasons!
