It was a disaster out here in Fairfax where the snow was a beat down in the morning. I called my office in Silver Spring, but it was barely snowing on the other side of the beltway. We ended up with around 8-12”, but roads were clear by afternoon.
paxpatriot
It’s times like these that I fall back on some words of wisdom stormtracker gave me a few years ago. “When in doubt, trust the 48-hour NAM. It’s like a Hanzo sword at that range. Also, bitcoin? Don’t waste your money, it’s a passing fad.”

It ended up dumping snow and I got 7" on top of almost 2'. I think that was a inverted trough. They definitely can have surprises. Those are probably our best shot at positive bust in this modern age.

I said let's pool our money and get like $200 worth. I think it was like 30 cent a coin? She said nah, that's stupid. We would have had 66 bitcoin. What a true debacle. 1 3

How good does 3-6 inches of cold powder sound now even if it's only light to moderate rates over an 18-24 hours. I can certainly agree to a long duration moderate event with no temp or column issues where every flake counts. Instead were grasping for a dusting.
