Brick Tamland
Between the GFS, 12k NAM, 3k NAM and FV3 I have anywhere from 2 to 6 inches of snow. Yesterday the 3k was giving me more than the 12k, and today it's the opposite. Nice to see some consistency among them.
Brick Tamland
I will say the GFS has been the most consistent with its totals from run to run and it is the one showing the most snow for more of NC.

olafminesaw
I'm amazed at how this image turns into potentially .1" or less of QPF east of the mountains. We've had plenty of disappointment around here (and when I lived in Virginia)usually in the form of a changeover, but nothing quite so perplexing meteorologically. Common sense normally prevails but here we are

kvegas-wx
Ended up with a glaze of ZR and a dusting of snow (unexpected) last night in Dallas. So if you call that overperforming, then I wish my folks back home in NC all the best today and tomorrow. Can't wait for someone to say "it's ripping fatties"!
