NorthHillsWx
I’m gonna disagree with some of the posts above. HRRR looks like it’s getting ready to crank. SLP still back south of Fl panhandle and precip is blossoming over NC and extending back to N Ga. I think this was about to fill in across the state. It’s also slower. Now, I’m not going to argue over the hour 48 HRRR but i don’t think that’s a bad look for what was to come

tarheelwx
I'm thinking for the triad back to the mountains that for this to be good, it will be primarily a mid afternoon to Wednesday night storm. If it ends up wrapping up by 6pm like some models have shown, then I think totals will be on the lighter side. On the other hand, we have the 3km NAM and hopefully the HRRR was about to show something similar with precip expanding out west. TW

People take what you say and run with it.. Plus, you have to take time to create your graphics and your package, and by that time it is already outdated. I appreciate it that Elizabeth gardner glosses quicky over the littlle futurecast videos I mean it is simulated ,science based, but simulated guess Look at 12:30, 24 hours from now it will snow hard in Durham, not Holly Springs.!! People see that stuff and thing it is gospel. In some respects it has messed up the discussions compared to 20 years ago when they give discussion, talk "climo" and set up general maps
