Surprisingly, we've had consistent light to moderate snow for 90 minutes and as of 3:45 pm we have 1/2" on the ground on colder surfaces and we also have a light coating on our driveway and sidewalks (untreated), whereas any street in town is just wet (we just ran errands and ate downtown). It's 32F, which is a touch colder than forecast and could mean this will overperform (vs. the updated NWS 1.5" forecast for my house; was 2.0" last night and my prediction last night was for an underperformer with 1.4" for my house) unless the warm air moves in more quickly. Sleet/mix line looks to be from about Philly to LBI, so could have several or just a few more hours of snow. It also helps that 75% of our property still had 1/2" or so of snow/sleet/ice cover, which is 32F, enabling an easier start of accumulation.

Have had moderate snowfall for most of the last hour and we're up to 1.0" on the colder surfaces (it's still 32F), much faster than I expected; have about 1/4-1/2" on most untreated paved surfaces now, as you can kind of see in the pic below. Precip has lightened up a bit and looks like there might be a lull for the next ~20 minutes or so.

Radar unfortunately fell apart…

That might be it for the event

Took a nice walk; it was perfect because nothing stuck to the park walking paths yet, but had a nice snowfall going. Had a nice band up til a few minutes ago. Don't see anything out the window right now, unless it flipped already.

The thump ended up being very brief as those good radar echoes fell apart. Back down to very light snow here now. Just about up to an inch ... I measured 0.9". Looks as if about an inch is gonna do it for this event here. It has been a beautiful afternoon with this wet snow coating everything. Nice little event even though it's going to be washed away quickly.

As of 4pm it was LGA 0.3 JFK and EWR 0.4 NYC T

Not sure Central Park will get more than that. Precip seems to have fallen apart and then we dry slot before rain tonight. Oh well. Still under 12” for the season here.

Rain comes in later tonight I assume ? Maybe Central park makes it over 1”. That’s a dream but I doubt it.

NYC CP has had .07 melted as of 5PM... at temp about freezing.  Not sure what the snowboard will say, nor what Manhattanites are seeing but there has to be measurable there...even with settling.

Wantage NJ 0.8" at 5P and s-- lull.

0.8" of snow in Garwood.  All over, except for a little light sleet.  That brings my season total in to double digits, 10.3".  Last week, this looked like it could have been winter wonderland, with 3 potential events.  One by one, they all fizzled to minor events...
