Just curious…how many times do we compare our snow totals to “good” seasons? Because all those good seasons had storms like this too, that got washed away either immediately or melted fairly quickly. So if we dont care about it now, we shouldnt count them in our seasonal snow totals either. Gotta lower 95-96 by some i guess.

There was one just days after 96...started as snow and turned to rain. Remember it well, I was scheduled for a medical procedure and the doctor forgot his equipment. Good thing too, because he later lost his license because all his test results were the same, which is statistically impossible.

Just very light to occasional light snow here.  Light coating on everything but the street.  My thinking was 1" here.  Based on the current goings on hard to envision much more than that before a mix with and change to sleet and some minor freezing rain during the evening and then to plain rain around mid-night.  I see NWS just hoisted High Wind Warning for gusts to 60 mph.  That should be interesting with the wet ground tomorrow afternoon into Monday.  Bound to be some downed trees / power outages if those gusts are realized.

It's a beautiful scene out there with the trees coated with the wet snow.

Same. Radar looks real good for the next couple of hours

Moderate snow here in Bayside. Around 33-34 degrees so nothing sticking. I doubt Central Park even sees an inch from this, ideally if it snowed after sunset there would be less sun angle issue and maybe it would accumulate in Manhattan. Feels colder than what it actually is out here.
