I'll take the over on winds....maybe 50mph+ in some areas. Winds have been one constant this winter and many over achievers...

Current DP is 16F, so we have some wiggle room. But yeah, expecting my weekly coating before rain washes it all away.

Precip is still hours away....probably 34-35F temp by then. Not sure the current low dew points are going to help us...

Snow is approaching think it comes in like a wall

2.5" expectations

This may be your "quick wall" but your 2.5" seems bit high...don't think I'll receive an inch and doubt it sticks to roads all that much.

The wall has arrived after some light snow we now have accumulating steady snow laying on all surfaces.

They are going to waste more salt on this only to be washed away in a couple hours....I wouldn't salt since there's probably still enough on the roads already till the temperatures rise and it turns to rain. Municipalities always overdue it and wonder while they are low on salt? Roads are white around here with everyone (including business owners) dumping way too much salt...

It will all eventually be all washed away but unfortunately till that happens the roads will become slick and accidents are already happening out here as I type. The roads need to be treated while the winter weather is occurring I can confirm that Pen dot is mixing salt with anti skid material.
