CT Rain
17 minutes ago, CoastalWx said: 31 almost in Tolland. Looks like the bigger accretion might be done in CT. 28 here. We're tickling up but rates are now quite lame.
ORH_wxman
Absolutely scalping here. Everytime it seems it wants to go to more straight ZR (or RA since it’s now 32F), it starts going crazy with the pellets again. Should finally go to RA pretty soon at some point.

Typhoon Tip
just about 6" of 90% snow/ 10% sleet. Since then we've been ZR/IP mixed with pixie flakes along side. The plows are not down our side streets just yet, and it's laborious removal due to the sleet mixture and dense water content. This fairly breached a low end warning result here. IP/ZR/S-
wx2fish
Up to about 6" snow/sleet. Fine pellets and snow grains for the last couple of hours. 27F.
Sey-Mour Snow
Kevin won this one for CT. Way to stay with the colder scenario's. As I said I hoped you were right. HRRR destroyed all guidance starting yesterday about 18-24 hours out with the low level cold overperforming.. Only 2.0" of snow and sleet combined but now we have a glacier pack.. Hope to stay under 40 here now today..

HIPPYVALLEY
Just light sleet and pixie dust now. Temps still in the low and mid-20's from Northampton N to Brattleboro. Should be some minor icing later.

Hope to stay under 40 here now today.. Thanks man lol. Didn’t get quite as much zr here as I thought/ hoped. Too much sleet cut down on it. Maybe .15-20 of ice on trees. I saw that dry slot in PA and knew the big ice threat here locally was over .

HRRR has most of the zr here after noon Sure. I still think you overperform on sleet and then you get a little ZR later. Still snowing here. I am going to snowblow the driveway as soon as you flip. The weight of the snow plus IP will make it impossible later. I just want to get all the snow part of the storm done first. powderfreak
It is dumping out. HRRR has us barely avoiding IP now.

I’m leaving the sleet on top so it’ll snowblow easier.
WxWatcher007
Pretty awesome ice event. 29.7 and climbing slowly, but if there’s no more accumulation I had 2.3” of snow and .7 of sleet/flat ice measured on a flat surface. About .2” of ice on my branches.
