Maybe GFS is wild, but has 60kts+ at top of boundary layer. Nam more like 50-55. You can't assume all that mixes down, but GFS certainly would be over 60mph gusts. weathafella
I expect Monday to be howling. I didn’t expect the amount of wind last night and today. Once these systems blow up in the maritimes it gets windy.

danstorm
Wow, after putting down 6-8" of snow, RGEM drops 0.5-0.75" of QPF as sleet for portions of CNE. That is a high impact event!

dendrite
9 minutes ago, ORH_wxman said: That looks pretty aggressive in S NH. It’s bottom end. 8” and 9” on the point forecasts. I’m guessing 6” of snow and then 2-3” sleet? But yeah, definitely on the higher end of any guidance.

Prismshine Productions
I'd guess late morning transition to IP as the warm nose moves in between 925 and 850mb. The warm nose will drop a bit flipping us to ZR before we flip back to SN as the cold comes crashing back in. Latest trend has IP lasting quite a few hours so your 1" estimate is not bad. ZR will be maybe 0.05 to 0.10". 2m temps should stay below freezing the whole time.Yeah, that is why I went with the ranges I did with a glaze (the .1"ZR). Either way that would cement into a glacierSent from my SM-S156V using Tapatalk

Typhoon Tip
Me old standard NAM FOUS from 18z was tick colder. The triangulation method implied 5 or 6" of snow along Rt 2 west of 95 on on out, then a mix of IP and ZR to some .3" accretion before ending, but could be higher ice if less IP
HIPPYVALLEY
24 minutes ago, dendrite said: Easy. You snow, sleet, and then briefly zr and dryslot. That’s exactly what is coming for most. There will be a narrow band of heavier icing, but that will be determined closer to go time.
