CoastalWx
I have about 1.5” at thinnest to maybe 4-5” shade that will be bulletproof soon. Not much but looks wintry. 4-6 on top would be nice. I’m more pissed at how the turkeys ruined the thinnest part of my pack. 1 5 1
Kitz Craver
My pack survived today surprisingly well, happy for that. Still very wintry appeal out there.

Only one I remember of significance was when I was a kid living in a heavily wooded area. The noise was unreal. Constant cracking. Actually spooked my father who had been in very heavy combat. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_New_England_ice_storm_of_1973#:~:text=The Southern New England ice, also affected New York State.&text=Connecticut%2C Massachusetts%2C New York%2C Rhode Island.

George001
This storm means business…. we’re seeing around 1.5 in QPF for many areas on guidance. I’m excited, think we have a decent chance at a net gain.

The memories yeah, I remember going out after midnight in Oct, power already gone, and just hearing nothing but tree limbs and trees snapping everywhere it was surreal, then watching the 60' spruce fall on my neighbor's house was not good, luckily nobody hurt

DavisStraight
I lost power for 7 days in 2011, it sucked, lucky I had a wood stove, but you can't shower, it's a pain to cook anything even though my stove has a cook top and I couldn't work and make any money. I worked 33 days straight. I'm an electrician. All i did was work, and somehow came out on the short end when it came to how much we actually took in. I was off the deep end after that, I was actually ready to hang it up and pursue something else... kind of like now. Burnout is a very real phenomenon 5

Between QPF and lack of good winds advecting in some lower Tds, not sure how much damage they'll be. I explained all this to him last night at this time, ad nauseam … … just like others have at multiple other times spanning many years. Forget it! He’s not going to get it. He’s never going to get it. His fucking cats could explain it to him by now - it’s not going to penetrate 1

Maybe you should review turning off your water so if the power goes you minimize damage to your house.
