Connecticut Appleman
Is the colder air still expected to come into NW CT to come in around 7-8:00? Man, the ice dangling in the trees is going to be something when the wind comes up. Right at 32 degrees now.

The whole house generator may get a workout. The power has already been flicking all afternoon. So many really dead rotting ash trees waiting for gravity to win and this may speed this up. And yet., This is like the 5th time the past 22 winters it has. WTF is Happening to RI?? And that was Never Modeled. Everyone had Boston and me getting the same. Only when you got Past the NH Line did you start going 6+. As I did when I woke up in Southern NH. 7.5" Now up there. But for Logan to get almost 6 out on the Freaking Ocean? Me in the hills can't get 3"? AGAIN? WTF. 22" for the Season. This Miserable, Atrocious, Season. THAT STILL SOMEHOW HAS GIVEN MORE SNOW THAN THE PAST 2 Seasons!! And Remember Guys - I WAS NOT HOME for the 2022 Storm! I haven't seen 12" since March of 2019!! Cory, it was modeled. This is not an elevation event. In fact, elevation in some places was a deterrent. Check out the modeled snow from most sources yesterday. Your latitude hurt you, nothing else had much of an impact.
DavisStraight
So glad I bought the bigger Toro snowblower, took care of this slop with only two clogs easily cleaned out. Still going to be a skating rink later.

Same here, once I got above freezing, I never went below, it's a slushy mess and it's going to be nasty when it freezes later tonight.

bristolri_wx
I’m impressed it stayed below 40 for so long today down here. The hi-res hourly models keep revising the temp rise, and at one point 50 was predicted this far up the bay but no longer. Surprised I still have an inch of slop on the ground that’s going to freeze up tonight.
Typhoon Tip
We just tucked ... 35 to 30 in the last 20 minutes. Still straight rain but that's probably just because it's too fast and needs a little more time to respond.

dendrite
I still think most of you in CT will spike briefly if/when the wind ramps up. But it shouldn’t do much damage to the ice.
tamarack
About 6" new. Sleet mix arrived 2 PM, very small IP and tiny flakes. Now much happening now - even smaller IP with fog and low teens.
