RAY GOT 6”?!  Seriously!?  And I distantly got only 2.5”??  WTF.  I don’t live that far south.  Changed to rain at freaking 3-6am.

Back to the Historic Sleet I saw in Southern New Hampshire, I swear to you this was over 1 in./h of sleep, which I don’t know how much that would translate if it was Snow, as we All know how difficult it is to accumulate sleet.  The video is in the text, but here is a screenshot of the video as the sleep was pouring off to where you swore it was water.

Un.  Real.  7.5” SN & Sleet Total up there.

Whereas I Just got back to Rhode Island, and it’s absolutely pouring like a hurricane, even though I still get stuck behind plows on the highway to make the day worse.  The pack is down to 4”, where it is 16” where I was.  Puddles Everywhere here.

THURSDAY BETTER F-ING COME!!!!

IMG_9684.jpeg

Everyone in the pike region got 5-6”.  Logan measured 5.4” at 7AM today.  That was well modeled and you are like 50 miles south of Ray.

Sitting at 33 for hours now. No melting and already pretty much as dense as its going to be. This will be about 10" of proverbial glacier (About 7 today, not out of line with Lancaster 2 miles to my north) plus the five or six inches already on the ground and further packed by today. Glad we avoided the ice. It looks like not far to our north in the higher country they must have gotten hit. High 33, Low 23, Dewpoint(current), 32

Of the 600 Hours or so I have shoveled in my Lift, THIS TODAY has been the Worst.  You are better off Shuffling your Feet to move the Glop (of Less than 3" as we couldn't even get 3!  But that's the perfect disaster amount for these conditions too.) than shoveling it.  There is 2"-4" of water IN THE DRIVEWAY!  And I live on a cliff!  AND it's Ice UNDERNEATH the 2"-4" of water that's Under the 2" of Glop Snow.  If you try to Direct the water (WHILE Getting Heavy Rained on BTW) so your place doesn't flood, you Can't, because as Warm as it is, it's still Too Cold for the ice chunks to melt.  So they get Stuck in your paths EVEN if you try to direct Every Freaking Water Molecule with your shovel, carefully as to not get the glop chunks.  It doesn't work.

MOREOVER, I want to At Least have a big patch of untouched Flat Snow that will turn to total Ice and have Some kind of fun with that, BUT I CAN NOT!  Because if I Don't get rid of everything here by nightfall (Which I can't Anyway, it's impossible to shovel this crap), it's not going to get above freezing until Friday (after we probably miss the Big Storm cause it'll be Too Cold and Out to Sea??), and Deep Freeze Monday night and Tuesday night AND TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS Tonight??  Or you F-ing Joking?

So the Worst Shoveling I've Ever Had, in my Life, is only Part 1 Today?  I have no words in the dictionary to describe this.  I've given up on the water situation and glop chunks everywhere, and now they are going to be Set in Stone by tomorrow morning??  Noooo.  No No.

And On top of ALL of it - Ray, who's barely north of me, has 14" of a Base.  I'm getting DESTROYED with Noah's Ark Rain Amounts and down to 2" Maybe as a base, and you can't step on it or else you're hitting a Pond or Mud.

F***!!!   THIS!!!!  WINTER!!!!!!!!      :gun_bandana::raining::underthewx::flood:

Logan, Never, ever ever, EVER Eeeever Beat Me.  I'm at 350 Feet and West.  And yet., This is like the 5th time the past 22 winters it has.  WTF is Happening to RI??

And that was Never Modeled.  Everyone had Boston and me getting the same.  Only when you got Past the NH Line did you start going 6+.  As I did when I woke up in Southern NH.  7.5" Now up there.  But for Logan to get almost 6 out on the Freaking Ocean?  Me in the hills can't get 3"?  AGAIN?  WTF.

22" for the Season.  This Miserable, Atrocious, Season.

THAT STILL SOMEHOW HAS GIVEN MORE SNOW THAN THE PAST 2 Seasons!!

And Remember Guys - I WAS NOT HOME for the 2022 Storm!  I haven't seen 12" since March of 2019!!

High of 20f, now down to 15f. Don't think we're going to get any freezing rn. Been holding off on snowblowing

Similar situation here but at 26.6 now.  Looks like we'll avoid the freezing rain thankfully.  Didn't clear anything today.  The wife and I will likely plow in the morning.

Then clear the driveway :P

18.8F  Light sleet and snow grains.  So far a very easy storm. 5" of dry snow then just sleet and snow grains all afternoon.  We await a flip.

High was 19.4F.  Although I can drive to Boston in around 1:45 minutes our climate is so different.  I have not hit 32F since February 4th. I have yet to hit 40F in 2025.  Last time I did that was on New Year's Eve. 15" at the snow stake and it is powder snow all the way down to the grass.
