WxWatcher007
32.3° Neighbor used their snowblower to clear the sidewalk…and unfortunately threw all of the dirt and muddy water right on top of my previously pristine pack. It looks like a Scooter streak across my front yard. The watery and poorly timed kind.

mahk_webstah
Just went for a long walk with the babies in the jet sled. They are totally unfazed by this weather. I wouldn’t call it totally sleet. Very tiny little sleep balls but lots of shards and a little tiny flakes that make the visibility low. Definitely over 6 inches And very wintry.

Light snows overnight with temp at 19F, then a heavier band after sunrise, morphed to big aggregates temp up to 22F, then a shutoff, a couple rounds of heavy sleet but only a few minutes worth, most of the day has been windblown pixie dust and lower vis yielding another inch down, now back down to 19F.

It wasn't that cold so I didn't understand why you were freezing. Earl sucked in FMH, 55mph. Noel however was really roaring, lots of trees and limbs everywhere and no power. easily 65-70mph gusts maybe 75 I did not prepare myself well dress wise. I have ZERO clue what possessed me to wear nothing but shorts. I was wearing shorts with a short-sleeved shirt and I didn't bring any long pants or a sweatshirt so I was just soaked and of course being super skinny I was freezing. I couldn't stop shivering lol. Probably the second coldest I've ever been, behind the outdoor hockey game in Hartford. Coming down steadily again, though I can hear some melting I think so we must be warming. This will probably add more icing to the cars/snow but doesn't seem to be coating trees/power lines...from what I can tell anyways

Connecticut Appleman
Trying to tickle to 32 here (31.8) but the trees have really started to accumulate ice. I'm at 1000 feet in New Hartford, not sure what it is in the valleys around me. If the trees don't shed before the wind picks up - oh my. Heard a couple of trees snap down in the woods. HoarfrostHubb
Town plow just made a couple of passes. Huge boulders of snow at the end of my driveway so I had to hit it with round 2. that Ego snowblower can really throw it. But the batteries deplete quickly in this stuff.
