It appears based on radar that the northern extent of the snow is starting to sag SE. might be tough for LI to reach the WWA predicted totals

Looks sweet in SNJ tonight! Nice. I think that area has had more SN+ obs this winter than some northern areas have had in total since 2020.

Looks like it’s setting up over sound… south shore should be fine. Moderate snow In Massapequa everything coated + Upton mentioned maybe heavy snow later

As of 8 pm, we have 0.1" otg (just about 1/4"/hr rate) at 31F and snowing lightly to moderately - nice dendrites. The radar shows the decent snowfall rates falling off quickly about 10 miles NW of here, so this could be a close call all night unless the radar follows the NAMs and some other models and fills in towards Sussex/Warren counties for awhile.

Got my walk in.  About a mile in, i said to myself, "it feels a lot colder than 31 right now!"

Kept on walking and then did some measurements.  2.5-2.7 OTG on non-pavement.   As I'm getting back to my house, I'm literally freezing my dik off and thinking I may be coming down with a chill and a bug.  After all, "LibertyBell" told me that I may get the bird flu while hunting.

I walked inside to dry the dog off and realized my fly was down.  Good old white trash Air Conditioning!

Enjoy whatever snow falls y'all.  Time to get a shower and zonk out.  Time to fold some wings tomorrow!
