HRRR is similar but less severe up your way. NAM3k is almost a non-event outside of favored spots/elevation. It's going to be interesting watching temps today. The HRRR is more accurate for down here rn, it has my area at 31 while the NAM is at 33.

it snowed pretty good overnight so my final total is 2.5". 14.5" so far this winter.

now I am impatiently waiting for some sleet and then rain to wash it all away.

Pretty good forecast verification from NWS for most of us. I had my doubts this time yesterday.

8"  with several reports of 9/10 within 10 miles.

For tonight, I tossed the NAM 3k which unreasonably depicts .80 zr to 0 zr within 10 miles.

A 4 model blend of .23 zr seems reasonable. I expect mostly on elevated surfaces.

32 degrees at noon.

Measured a little over 3" on the table this morning, would have likely been between 3.5" -4" if I had taken correct measurements throughout. Not a bad little storm considering.

Yes. A good friend who lives southside near the nickel bridge has lost power too.

So, have we learned anything from this storm?  Yes.

Always, ALWAYS trust the HRRR, especially when backed up by a retired meteorologist who no longer lives in the area.

ALWAYS call a bust before the first flakes have begun.

8.2 inches,maybe more but compaction was well underway when I measured. Over 21 inches for the season. Hope we can pull another event that spreads the wealth around.

I think it was 96 he was sticking with 3 - 6 about 24 hours before when everyone else was going 2 ft.

It may of been one of the other HECS but I'm pretty sure it was 96.

Of course at that point models weren't openly available to the public so his such low totals made me wonder if he was seeing something no one else was.

Yep, this seems to be a S&E winter with the exception of the Jan 19 storm. I have almost 17" on the season by comparison, with just a few inches to go before hitting climo

My greatest fear for tonight is white pine limbs already laden with snow from yesterday.   Longer limbs wont take a lot of additional weight before they begin to snap.

I lost about a dozen last week.
