Just about all the DC-area schools are either closed or using remote learning, except for Frederick MD currently 2-hour delay but will reevaluate by 7.

The Feds are on a two-hour delay/unscheduled leave or telework, Andrews a two-hour delay, Forts Belvoir and Meade "closed".

Its pretty now. Lots of shoveling to do before it gets too wet and heavy. Not looking forward to the half inch of rain that will fall into it later. Then more rain this weekend. My driveway is going to become a mess.

Cleanup of heavy snow definitely less ideal, that is true. Got 2.5” and just cleared the driveway in about 10 minutes so score one for always being fringed lol…

What a fantastic storm. The ratios were great, the rates were great, and the temps were cold. I'm eyeballing at least 6". Ive reached climo here. It's been a fantastic winter so far. Let's keep it going!

I’m only a few inches from climo imby and we may have another shot by next weekend. This winter has exceeded many expectations.

Sticking with my 5.6" call from yesterday for mby with some amazing consistency with some of these models give or take some wobbles. Has Woodbridge to Fredericksburg ever NOT been in the bullseye with this thing? That type of long run hit is what we all wish for. Congrats guys enjoy the snow.

Damn i nailed this sucker on the nose....yay me! Bob Ryan can suck it

At least 9" here. I will measure in a few spots. Obv there is compaction but I didn't do the snowboard thing so I will report what's otg.

A bit of a visual overestimate. I went out and measured before starting to shovel off the deck. 8.5".

That is some pretty heavy snow. It was 30 when snowing, temp up to 31 now.

Consistent across the screw zone -

2.3 for your area , I am at 2.5 and t.august over in Havre is at 2.7.

modeling has been pretty great at sussing out the wall on these events in our area for a few years now…

it is pretty to wake up to in any event. Happy Wednesday to you!

I’ll measure a bit later, but I’ll say that one oddity is that I’ve never had so much snow with absolutely no wind.  The fact that there are clear patches under the table and chairs is amazing.

Great to hear! I was in CP, so don't know the final total for my hood, but according to my wife last night before bed, we had a little over 4.5", so likely touched 5.5-6" when looking back at radar. Solid storm again for our neck of the woods. WAY over climo now at my 16' of elevation lol

Didn't you catch the early afternoon panic on here? Apparently on FB Bob got spooked the Hrrr and said the warnings for DC might need to be reduced to an advisory and was calling bust. CWG started doing it as well...even you got shaky like  :)

Didn’t catch the Bob part. There were so many folks posting haha

I stuck with my 3-6” call here though, and also pointed out that the HRRR trended wetter at game time
