Amazing that school bus technology has actually regressed in the last 40 years where they can no longer drive effectively in 2 inches of snow.

Good luck down there, man!  The latest guidance has mby here in Augusta County a little north of the axis of heaviest precipitation, but anywhere from 4” to 11”.  

NWS has me in the 6-8” on the map, but their point and click says 5-11”.  I will be happy with whatever falls and sledding with the family provided we get enough!

Actually reminds me of this bar near campus when I was in grad school, they had this thing called the "barber chair".  It literally was a barber chair.  After you paid for this "ride", they'd sit you down in and pour some kind of booze down your gullet and then spin the chair fast.  No, I never tried it...freakin' made me dizzy/sick just watching hahaha!

Definitely some higher river flows.. I'll never forget Jan 96 going to bed as a teen thinking no way all this snow is going to melt in one night even with the rapidly rising temps and dew points... The roar of the nearby mountain river the next morning gave me the answer b4 I even looked outside... Then the 2 inch rainfall that morning really flooded Virginia up into PA...

I'm starting to be intrigued by the GFS vs...everything else models.  And it's not backing down, I wonder what gives.  It's definitely gonna crumble, but what it is seeing none of the other models are
