HoCo voted down virtual teaching. We go through June 18 now with the five they’ve used, and any days used now will likely come from a scheduled day off like spring break.

it really doesn’t make a damn bit of difference to me because I’m retiring this year and will have my spring break regardless.

This is why its dumb to call a snow day when its "too cold" or theres a bit of ice somewhere on some sidewalk in the shade. We've had 2-3 "soft" snow days this year which could be used for days like tomorrow. Oh well same here if they start using spring break days... I've already booked London so my kids will just have to get their education overseas that day.

Since WTOP and others don't have this, I am not even sure OPM knows HOW to close the government at this point.

 

Its a mess. Guidance changed about 4 times today. The best was telework for the first 3 hours and then drive into the office. Seriously? They didn't want to put the word "telework" in writing. Which was hilarious. I don't care anymore. Whole thing is childish.

Anyway 2.3 here in Newark Delaware. Overperforming. Going to beat Jan 6th easily at this rate. Which makes me happy. Next goal is will they plow (thats anything over 4 inches). I doubt we get there but it might be close.
