Ended with 6” with a lot of sleet in between (Ashland).  Still heavy sleet and am sure that will continue to compress things a bit.

I think 4” should be relatively easy. 5” is stretching it. 
 

Eta: Looking at the radar now things seem to be sinking South pretty fast. If that continues we won’t hit 4”

So, just based on recent reports in this thread, 5" has crossed southern Fairfax County, 4" Falls Church and up to Vienna, the NOVA airports came in at 3" for 7 pm, and Columbia and even BWI were around 2". It looks like the gradient has been more relaxed DC northeastward, and as tight as expected south of DC.

The NAM nest has been incredibly spot on for this thus far with the banding. I really think the NAMs get a bad rap (no pun intended?).

Just over 3” and still snowing decently. Radar to the west tells me its not quite over yet.

Just a bit over 2 inches on deck and cars.. Pavement has an inch. Snowing steady but lightly.
