Yes, the current sun angle of 32.6 degrees at my location and time  is more than 11 degrees higher than it would have been on the 21st of December at the same time.

DCPS is dismissing normal time - the aftercare at our elem school is doing a slightly early dismissal at 5:15pm (usually it's 6pm).  LOL we'll see how that holds up.

31F in my yard, flurried for about an hour, now official Snow I'd say. Starting to stick on the grass and mulch beds. Still melting on the driveway for now. Sister is reporting nearly 6" just south of Cville.
