Warm Nose Posted February 12 Share Posted February 12 I reported 2.5 in the 9pm hour last night, woke and measured and additional 1.25" this morning so a storm total of 3.75" for me. There was 0.6 yesterday at 7 am on 0.03 liquid, then I cleaned a board every six hours and left one to do its thing. Measured 8.5/8.5 at 1 pm, 13.7/6.8 at 7 pm and then another 0.6 at 7 am this morning for a total of 15.9 inches, although the sleet and freezing drizzle had compacted snow down to 13.0. Total liquid was 1.48". Snowfall shatters 1983's 5.5 inches, liquid breaks 1985's 1.30 inches. Expand Usually those N/W specials are coastals and we've had a hard time getting those in recent years. This being more flat, it was just the luck of the draw where the precip shield set up. I believe this is the most consistency we've seen in modeling 2016.
