the drought lives on baby Every model run and radar is getting drier and drier. I will not be satisfied until a drought emergency is issued by PADEP  LMAO.  By the way, I warned you guys about the abundance of sinkholes in our general area for the past 3-4 months. I-80 fell into a massive on yesterday and it is getting bigger. This is the late 60's all over again. We need a a 93 superstorm badly. Maybe the first week in March will produce something major and pattern changing because the models tell me jack shite on even getting a WSW event for us for the next two weeks  after continuously showing 30+ in of snow for the LV in the past three weeks . Just give at least 3  2" rain events  now to hell with the snow. I did not even use the snow shovel for the sleet event, it sublimated away. LOL.  https://abc7ny.com/post/north-jersey-traffic-80-wharton-faces-emergency-closure-sinkhole-appears-return/15888495/

Similar here, just added to ye old snow pile. Beautiful out! Measured 2.9" in a well shaded area, 2.6" in warmer spots. Might be compacting here a bit with the borderline temps. Gotta love that back edge on the radar, it just keeps giving!

Forgot to post here, but As of 1 am, we have 1.5" of snow for another 0.3" the last hour and despite being in what looks like a radar lull, it's still snowing close to moderately (the small flakes might not be showing up great on the radar) and it looks like a healthy blob of snow is aimed at us and entering Somerset County right now. Hoping that batch can put us over 2". Still 30F. Just walked around a bit and threw some snowballs - the snow packs decently as it has some moisture, but it's nowhere near wet or slushy. Beautiful snowstorm even if we don't get crushed.

Any reports from Philly?

Did a 4:00 am measure and have 2.75" of relatively fluffy stuff.  Looks to be good snowball-making snow.  I know that round 2 will probably be incoming to add a crust before it all eventually gets rained away.

Currently an overcast 28, with some low stratus and dp 28.

ETA - this brings my totals just over a foot of frozen for the season!
