radar, a dry slot is beginning to move into the Eastern
Catskills from the southwest with infrared satellite imagery
supporting this with the indication of mid- level dry air
beginning to entrain into these areas. However, with the coastal
wave looking to be closer to closing off, it`s possible that
these areas could re- saturate and have the precipitation shield
fill back in.

If we can get that slot out west to resaturate we’re in business.

good to see but those numbers just arent happening. i think most would be happy if we can hit .5 or .6 liquid by the time the event is over.
