dendrite
30.2° off of 30.7° so far. We’ll probably mix and spike later. Looks like another 1/4-1/2” of SNIP in the driveway after I cleared this morning. That layer will probably be there until March.
Damage In Tolland
This pic doesn’t really do justice to how thick the fog is, but it’s been like this all day after the zr ended mid morning
ORH_wxman
High here was 36.4F but it's been rotting around 35-35.5 the last 2 hours....we def got a little drop after that mesolow went by....didn't do much, but it prevented further rises. Amazingly, this might end up a net-gainer from 1.5" of dense junk....at the very least, we won't lose any of the prior pack. 2

We may get enough rad cooling to hold the mixing off longer and avoid going above freezing.

powderfreak
Another 4” today of denser wetter snow. Seemed like more QPF than models had. About two feet in the yard now. Mountain did 6” at 3,000ft.
SJonesWX
net gain here. Hit 34 briefly, now down to 31. Picked up an inch or 2. current pack is over a foot, or to be more precise, deep enough to fill my boot when I stepped off the shoveled path

It’s not melting anything but feels balmy outside. Blowing pretty strong though.
alex
We only got to 33F for a brief period, and never switched to rain. It was snow with at times some sleet all day and wicked winds. Hard to tell how much we got because of the wind, my stake went down but looks like about 3” or so on the driveway. Snowing at the moment at 31.2F

It actually worked out almost perfectly today. Highest temp is right now, 42 degrees and the sun came out as it was setting. Probably 3ish inches on the north side 1ish still on the south facing areas. Now all that is left will become a glacier...

It was 88 there today. Never failed to get over 80 the whole time I was there. Although folks down there were complaining how cold it had been until now.
