Wow just terrible for those who got screwed by January 5-6 storm

And a bonanza for southern MD!  I fled that place because of snow but this winter my Calvert folks got a thundersnow squall with 2" in a half hour on Jan 3, and 11 inches on Jan 6.  They also had a 15-inch storm a few years ago that the northern part of the forum missed

I’ve mostly stopped tracking this one. Imo it’s got a decent bust potential anywhere north of dc. We’ll see. Hope I’m wrong

I feel ya. 1 or 2 ticks away from pretty much a non event. I think we see something but wouldn't be shocked if it 2" or less.

Could be, but this is one of those that could verify north all the way into gametime based on Synoptics and tiny variable changes up top wrt confluence and blocking setting in.

As I said earlier, it may or may not come north/NW, but if it does I’d expect it inside 36 hours
