clskinsfan
GFS all frozen out here through Wednesday again. Pretty nice sleet hit from wave 2.
snowfan
Still some time for changes, but it seems like we’re getting close to locking in a 3-6/4-8 snowfall with highest amounts between EZF and 50/66. Worried about daytime temps and rates keeping things in check. Would love for double digits to be in play, but am skeptical.
WVsnowlover
I really like where we sit right now at 48 hours out. Would not be surprised at all if the jack to ends up in our area. Let's reign this one in.

WxUSAF
I’ve been cooking so late to the game, but took a look at 3k soundings Tuesday evening. Quite nice looking with deep DGZ, good lift and cold column.

DCA at the middle of the storm 3k NAM temps being right would be *huge* for a lot of us. Temps are my one big worry now, especially in the city with no basically no greenery. Probably can’t slide into Arlington for this one now that we’re #intheoffice so need to ride it out here.
AtlanticWx
Honestly getting really excited for this. Didn't think we would score in February, let alone stare down a possible 6-8"+ storm area wide

As a counterweight, here are gfs and euro soundings. Hrrr doesn’t go that far out, and rgem weirdly doesn’t have soundings on TT but guessing a degree or two warmer than 3k nam.

That’s just smoothing across all ens members. But they’re converging on a max between dc and ezf. The clock is ticking on our snowfall climo with each day, so any chance we have to get more on the board before sun angle season gets going is welcome.

As much as I want to say 5-8”, I was too bullish last time so I’m staying conservative this time. Different storm, different scenario though. Better cold air this time except right at the surface, which can be overcome with moderate rates.
