So weird. I see the 6am version and it’s higher amounts

I think the one with higher amounts is computer generated, and the other was edited by a human. But that’s just my guess.

2-5/3-6” seems reasonable considering the marginal surface temps.

Someone might good banding that could add an extra inch or two. 8” max upside

I have no issue cutting snow map totals in half where I am. Still would be a 4” snow and I’m happy with that.

Hope everyone north and south see a snow they can be happy with. The bickering is so dumb

I don’t see any threat of a mix for you, just surface temps right at 32. But a good thump and evap cooling will help you! Hope you see 5” :)

I mean here in Baltimore I'm not sure I break the streak of not measuring 6", but I'm getting accustomed to still appreciating the scenery, at least. But I sure would love to reach that mark though

I think school districts will be able to get a day in on Tuesday, albeit with an early dismissal.

.

Alot of schools dont want the bus hassle.  And some schools are commuter only which puts pressure on parents to leave work early.   Going to go with close  tues wed

Also dont want the hassle of extending the school year. Guess it depends on location. Id think MD schools would try to give Tuesday a go.

.

There are alot of snow days for northern counties.  Loudoun has ~15 days.  They have one of the longest school days in VA.

Baltimore county is out of snow days. Any closures moving forward will be virtual learning at home so they don’t have to extend the school year
