LGA way ahead at 8.8. Newark at 7.9

Which take about 2-3 hours each to do, so ill probably do another update this month mid-month, then in march, then season finale

Volcanic Winter
This is amazing, thanks very much! I’m at about 4.5 inches on the season, Toms River but away from the water & well inland. We’ve been a bit of a snow hole this winter with storms missing both north and south.

Volcanic Winter
1 hour ago, The 4 Seasons said: is that on the map? probably just barely makes it toward the bottom there in Ocean right? Yeah - Toms River is normally the furthest south marker for the NYC metro and is why Ocean county gets included in the metro maps (you usually see a Toms River marker on media maps but not Brick, Jackson, etc). I live a bit northeast of the marker you have in north / central ocean that’s by itself. Edit- I’m referring to your Feb 8-9th Snow to Mix Storm map.

CPcantmeasuresnow
Just seeing this for the first time and appreciate you doing this. as of today in Highland Mills NY in eastern Orange County I'm at 28.3 inches YTD. Most of the Orange County observers that keep track are between 25-30 right now.

Even BDR has more as well as all surrounding locations. maybe you are missing some small 0.1-0.9" events? Yes it is. Don't know if you remember but a couple years ago and the New England forum I mentioned that my measurement in my yard is always low compared to my surroundings. I take three measurements one in the woods, and two in the cleared area of my yard and take the average. I do not clear snow I just take snow depth. What is odd is when I lived in Norwalk Connecticut pre-2015 I seem to almost always have the highest snow total. Not sure why this happens. Last time I had the most in the area was an overrunning event in January 2015 with 7. To get to my house you do have to go up a long sloped Hill. Not steeped, just long and it's facing south so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I guess if there was a northerly wind I would be down sloped but slightly. It's wooded so I don't know why my measurements are usually low.

I also added up your numbers for JFK and they added up to 9.
