surprised to see that even my local DC stations are in the 32/31 range - no accretion on the balcony yet but wonder if I can glaze up as the sun sets.

Haha well more like baby icicles off my deck chairs and grill cover. They were so small and “cute” that when I showed them to my 4 year old daughter, she laughed like she saw the funniest thing

I totally get the frustration, and the guidance Thursday and Friday wasn't good, but several of us here pointed out last night that the 00Z CAMs had backed way off on the precip.   With a delayed start and weaker event, we were inevitably going to warm up and significantly lessen any possible impacts.  The problem is that once the advisories are hoisted, local WFOs are understandably super hesitant to pull them back.

Nearly every event has trended towards a disorganized, moisture starved setup within the 12-36 hour timeframe. It makes me nervous about the Tuesday potential.

Just drove from bel air to Columbia. Roads were fine. Had some ice forming on the windshield on both ends of the drive, but 95 was fine. My car that’s been sitting in the driveway is iced up.

Warm area isn’t even the issue here it’s 29. There’s just no precip lol
