Drive from Millburn (28f around 10pm) to National Park NJ….encountered rain and sleet in Burlington county, temperature was initially 34 when I hit precip, 10 miles further south temperature dropped to 31/30….light glaze on vehicles, trash cans and parking spot stanchion at my nearest WaWa.  Nothing falling as of 12:10 am.

.30" sleet and graupel zero snow currently 33F

All guidance obviously dropped the ball on frozen precipitation N&W areas

Radar estimates are .25-50". Looking at the frozen and water in my gauge appears I received between .40-.50"

Despite the frozen bust a pre salted walkway is now the slipperiest surface known too man I challenge anybody to try.

The driveway is going to be trouble if it doesn't melt today

Looks like this system is pretty much out of here.  I ended up with 0.1" of ice accretion but found that out back on colder grassy areas (back faces NE), there was about 0.2" IP (sleet) that had fallen overnight.  None of that was out front, which was heavily treated and faces SW, or even on my patio, but was away from the house and in open areas nearby.

Currently a misty 34, with some fog/low stratus, and a dp 34.  Bucket tips resulted in 0.08" liquid, as anything that had accumulated in there and froze, has melted.
